The Buffalo Bills parted ways with Isaiah McKenzie on 3/17/23, allowing the 27-year-old wideout to hit free agency. The 5’8” speedy wideout is going to bring some attention to the WR market as the first wave of wide receivers available have been signed. This was a thin free-agent wideout market anyway.

Looking at the 2022-23 season stats for the 27-year-old Wide Reciever, it was below average and nothing more. McKenzie recorded 42 receptions for 423 yards while adding 4 touchdowns playing for the Bills. Don’t let the numbers fool you, McKenzie has killer speed. Combine that with his leadership and veteran presence, he is sure to find a new home relatively quickly.

A team that comes to mind is the New England Patriots, who have been trying to inject speed into their offense for some time. Bill Belichick loves taking AFC East players and has done so recently. Isaiah McKenzie is definitely a player the Patriots could target, and could be a reliable and cheap option. At the least, he provides depth and camp competition. The wideout would bring speed to the team, but what is his asking price?

Who do you think should sign Isaiah Mckenzie?
